Sanders Family Christmas & Shillings

A local Christmas tradition brings our year of trips to a close. We will attend a performance of Sanders Family Christmas at Theatre in the Square. A wonderful presentation about the beloved Sanders family of Smoke on the Mountain and Mount Pleasant Homecoming fame dealing with the beginning of WWII and its effects on the gospel singing clan. Before the fun of the show we will have lunch at Shillings on the Square.

Cost: $62 Senior Council Member; $67 Non Member. Deadline: ASAP. Price includes luxury motor coach transportation, admission prices, lunch, the driver tip and taxes. No refunds will be given after payment due date. Full refunds will be given if the trip is cancelled.

Lord of the Dance

Wednesday, March 10

4:00 p.m. -10:30 p.m. (Check-in 3:30 p.m.)

Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance is a mesmerizing blend of traditional and modern Celtic music and dance. The story, from mythical Irish folklore, tells how Don Dorcha, Lord of Darkness, challenges the ethereal Lord of Light, Lord of the Dance. The production is a play of 21 scenes on a grand scale of precision, dramatic music, colorful costumes and state of the art staging and lighting. We will have dinner at PF Chang's before the performance. Join us for a magical night of wonderful dance, music and food! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

The Allure of the Automobile @ the High

Wednesday, March 24

10:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Check-in 10:00 a.m.)

Zoom Zoom Zoom…We are stepping back in time to the golden age of automobile design. The exhibit at the High Museum of Art includes twenty of the world's most luxurious custom-designed cars from 1930 to 1960. These one-of-a-kind automobiles were designed by Porsche, Ferrari and Aston Martin. This is every car buff's dream come true. We will have lunch at one of our favorite places, McCormick & Schmick's. Join us for a wonderful day.
