Tech Talk Series: Facebook

Facebook is an online community which allows you to easily keep in contact with family and friends. It's a great, free way to find out what's going on in their lives and keep in touch on a daily basis. Come into the computer lab where you will set up an account and find out about everything you can do on Facebook.

 

Dancing With the Stars
Amateur Ballroom & Line Dance Competition

Cost: $5.00 Cobb resident; $6.00 Non resident. Tickets must be purchased by December 14

See some of Cobb's talented senior dancers at our amateur dancing competition. See ballroom dancers perform the Waltz, Foxtrot, Cha Cha and East Coast swing. Watch line dancers compete with their fun routines. Place your vote in the People's Choice Award for all dances. Want to compete? Call the Center for rules and an entry form by the December 14 deadline.

Tech Talk: Texting

Heart-healthy living starts the New Year off right! Stop by the lobby to sample mouth watering recipes (Chicken Chili and Baked Sweet Potato Chips) from The American Heart Association Cookbook, 7 th ed. We'll give you a sample and the recipe to take home which includes important heart healthy information about calories, sugars, fiber, carbohydrates, cholesterol, fat content and sodium.
