Grand Oaks Estate Holiday Tour

Thursday, December 17

Celebrate the holidays with your friends by joining us for a private holiday tour of Grand Oaks in Cartersville. This Greek Revival two-story home is renowned in northern Georgia for the special social events it hosts. Guests revel in the superb Victorian décor, secluded gardens and fine cuisine for a memorable time. During our visit, we will enjoy the festive decorations including 22 decorated holiday trees, nutcrackers of all sizes and lots of ornaments, as well as a home-cooked buffet lunch.

Cost: $49.00 Senior Council Member / $54.00 Non Member. Deadline: December 11. Price includes motor coach transportation, lunch, tax and tips. No refunds after payment deadline date. Full refunds will be given if the trip is cancelled.

Atlanta Cyclorama & World of Coca Cola

Thursday, February 18

8:30a.m - 4:30p.m. Check-in: 8:00a.m

Take a stirring journey through time in Atlanta 's Cyclorama featuring the world's largest oil painting, a huge panorama of the Battle of Atlanta during the American Civil War and also has a Civil War Museum of artifacts. For lunch, we will be going to McCormick & Schmicks on your own. After lunch, we will visit the World of Coca Cola with the world's largest collection of Coke memorabilia.

Cost: $50.00 Senior Council Member / $55.00 Non Member. Deadline: February 12.  Price includes motor coach transportation, admission fees, snack, tax and tips. No refunds after payment deadline date. Full refunds will be given if the trip is cancelled.

Bulloch House & National Infantry Museum

Thursday, March 25
9:00a.m. -6:30p.m. Check-in: 8:30a.m.

We will be honoring American history on our trip this month. To start our day, we will enjoy a Southern buffet lunch at the famous Bulloch House restaurant, built in 1893, home to fried green tomatoes, butter rolls and the best caramel cake in the South. After lunch we will be traveling to Columbus to tour the new $100 million National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center . It is the first world-class museum to pay tribute to the U.S. Army Infantryman and his 230-plus years of service. We will also watch a film on their 3D IMAX Theatre featuring a screen five stories high and seventy feet wide while enjoying soda and popcorn.
Cost: $60.00 Senior Council Member / $65.00 Non Member. Deadline: March 12
