Jeanne Thomsen

When you call the Transportation department at CSS, you will probably have the opportunity to speak with our newest team member-Jeanne Thomsen. She recently joined CSS after working for 3 ½ years at Cobb County Solid Waste.

 

Jeanne is a graduate of Florida State University where she played on both the Women's Varsity Volleyball and Softball teams. Not only was Jeanne a member of these teams, but she was the recipient of FSU's first-ever women's volleyball scholarship. While at FSU, Jeanne and her teams were very successful, garnering 2 nd place at the State Championship Tournament for softball; State and Regional Champions for volleyball, and 9 th place at the volleyball National Championship.

 

Originally from New Jersey , Jeanne and her family relocated to Georgia in 1990. She and her husband are parents to Matthew, a mechanic; Danielle, a student at UGA; and Mark, also a mechanic. They are the proud grandparents to Ryan !
